The refurbishment of entire ruined old-stone village is a unique project in Montenegro. It offers homebuyers the opportunity to own spacious, luxurious apartments and villas in traditional buildings that are being refurbished with painstaking attention to detail and authenticity.

Conveniently positioned very close to the Croatian border and Dubrovnik airport, Lucici is a village that was typical of this region. Situated in the hills just 2km from the Bay above Herceg Novi, Lucici had strong links to the sea and the original inhabitants were mostly sailors and fishermen.

Sadly the village started to fall into decline during the 1950's as people left the village to work in towns and cities. For a while the villagers would return at weekends to enjoy the country air and tend their gardens, but eventually, they stopped going back at all and the village fell into ruin.
The magnificent elevated position with stunning views overlooking the mouth of the Bay of Kotor, combined with the charming remains of the original village and its characterful stone houses, attracted the eye of the current owner who is creating a unique gated community here, accessible only by a private road, with excellent communal facilities.

The reconstruction of the village has been painstakingly planned to achieve a sense of community whilst allowing residents to enjoy their privacy.
